OuR bOhOL tRip......1St DaY

With our upcoming out of town in bohol and cebu sidetrip, I decided to at least relieve the first time we went to bohol.

March last year (2010) when Philippine Airlines had a seat sale. Luckily I got 2roundtrip tickets Manila Tagbilaran for only Php 2,834.00 for June 2010 travel. But a month after husband and I decided to bring our then 5 months old son. So it is understood my mom will also be joining this trip to help us attending to our son. Their airfare is a bit expensive than ours. I shelled out almost Php 4000 for 1 adult and a baby on lap’s air tickets. But I wouldn’t mind knowing that my mom will be happy to experience her first plane ride.

Our flight is at 5:30 am and were at the airport as early as 3am.

The good thing with the first flight of the day is always on time almost 95% kumpara mo naman sa mga hapon na flights. Originally it was only me and hubby at dahil nadagdagan ang kasama we requested for a van and I will just shoulder the additional charges.
Dumaan muna kami sa grocery to buy the needed supplies. Drinking water, bread and mosquito repellent lotion for baby bennok.
The we decided to have breakfast as McDonalds before going to the Seaport para sunduin ang makakasabay namin sa daytour. Buti na nga lang nasa McDo kami at that time. Then off to the seaport.

Around 8am dumating ang mga kasabay namin. Then dumaan lang din sila sa McDo to buy their breakfast at dumiretso na kami sa aming tour.
First stop was the Tarsier on the way going to Chocolate Hills. Here you can touch these big eyed creatures. And since natuwa naman baby ko I gave 50 pesos yata as donation.

Next is the Chocolate Hills.
To reach the view deck you need to climb around 200++ stairs for you to see this magnificent view:

It is quite high so you can just imagine kung gaano karaming pawis ang nailabas naming while our baby is sitting comfortably in his stroller. ;-)

Pero mawawala ang pagod when you see the beauty of Bohol’s pride, Chocolate Hills.

The Butterfly Farm was our next stop. For me as I have been to Sentosa in Singapore I think there’s nothing to rave about this place. An ordinary butterfly farm. Parang yung nasa QC Circle lang din. Pero OK na rin for an additional site to be visited in Bohol. My son enjoyed the flying colorful butterflies but for me Id rather take this out of my itinerary so I still have more time to spent by the beach. ;-) The ice candy is just OK for me.

Next was the Hanging Bridge. It was my first time to cross a bridge like this. ;-)
You’ll also find souvenir items on the other side of the bridge. If you know how to haggle makakamura ka dito. You need to cross another hanging bridge to go back to the parking lot.

It was almost lunch time so we headed to the Loboc River Cruise. Price per head was Php400 for the Riverwatch. Included is the buffet lunch. OK lang din for me yung food. Masarap daw sabi ng mga kasama ko eh pero ako hindi nasarapan ;-) or maybe because I was busy with my baby. The cruise was relaxing after the tiring morning weve had. Parang gusto ko nga matulog habang nag cruise yung banca.

Baclayon Church and Museum ang sunod naming pinuntahan.

Then we headed to Hinagdanan Cave. What to see here?? Aside from the bats, you can see stalagmites and stactites. And the black pool, heheheh…. Pasensya eh maitim talaga eh. And the trek is slippery so be very careful if you will go here. I hope when we comes back here may maganda na akong pictures.

Then after the pictures we tried to look for the souvenir items for sale here.

By the way, we also went to the phyton kaya lang wala akong pictures saka hindi ako natuwa doon kaya bumili lang ako ng peanut kisses. We also went to Bohol Bee Farm. And we tried their Malunggay ice cream and I should say masarap sya! ;-) There’s a lot to see and do in Bohol Bee Farm kaya lang mga pagod na kami kaya hindi na masyado nag ikot dito. I was able to buy pesto spread and honey for pasalubong sa mga matatanda. ;-)

To wrap up our first day Kuya Tatsky brought us to Whites and Greens Resort.
