bOhOL bEE FaRm

as promised in my balik sa bohol post, here are the images and some info from our bohol bee farm experience.

so here is our room, beehive suite #2. we were originally booked for a bungalow but upon arrival and getting inside the room, we decided to upgrade for a bigger room. actually i was hoping for a free upgrade coz based from what i have read also from online blogs, but unfortunately we were upgraded but with a fee. but it's okay, ill just hope that ms. vicky wallace of bohol bee farm would eventually gave us free room upgrade when we decided to go to bohol again. ;-)

auntie lola enjoyed her poses around the farm. well, she have that attitude of assuming unlikely positions in front of the camera. ;-)
this is the view from the steps to the viewing deck.

and me too, i also have this unlikely pose. heheheh.

 daddy bee with the sungka.
after our daytour at the Panglao Island Nature Resort and Spa on the other side of the island, we decided to try the famous bohol bee farm dinner buffet. the set up was a served buffet wherein the servers would refill the plates of the food the guests want to.

for starters, here is the organic garden salad with also an organic dressing....

then the cab-cab with pesto and green tomato dip. this is one of daddy bee's favorite. he requested for three refills of this plate.

with the fresh lemongrass juice. this one is my favorite. that's why i wasnt able to eat much because i drink too much of this juice. and we even asked for the last glass be brought to our room. ;-)

the seafood soup

grilled marlin, baked spare ribs and honey glaze chicken
the seafood lasagna
organic red rice with camote
and this was our table
another favorite of mine, the camote bread with various organic organic homemade spreads, yummy! as a matter of fact i bought 2 loaves of this camote bread and 1 mango spread as a pasalubong. good that they have a nice bayong that can be check inside the aircraft.

and the dessert, one scoop each of 2 ice cream flavors if i remember it correctly. sorry if i dont have the picture coz this was just brought to our room since we no longer have space in our stomach. ;-)
for the Php500/pax for the three of us, i should say this is quite expensive but knowing that this was a healthy happy eating, (hopefully really healthy), i will definitely go back here.

i managed to have this picture for our reference for more of our future dining experience.

for the next morning, this was their free set breakfast. coffee with their own sugar.
the camote bread and fried egg.
also comes with free spreads
and the lemon grass juice.

over-all, we enjoyed our stay in bohol bee farm. actually this was one of my options in our first trip to bohol but we settled for whites and greens then, since W&G is a beach front resort. though according to one of the staff of bee farm you can also swim the beach via the stairs at the viewing deck. but the sand was not as nice as the beachfront of W&G. so if you wouldnt mind the sand, this is the best option for you. the room was relaxing and fairly priced, excellent food with good and accommodating staffs. so definitely we will go back here... according to dady bee. ;-)
