BaLiK Sa BOHOL

we're almost through with the first half of this year. and as usual i am lagging with my blog posts. this post was for our company outing last february 2011. just a little info. since we celebrated our first wedding anniversary in bohol last june 2010 and my officemates also wants to see and experience the beauty of bohol, finally they agreed to shoulder some of their expenses just to have our company outing in bohol.

because of budget issues they booked their tickets with cebu pacific in one of its seat sales. they chose cebu as their entry and exit airport so it eats a lot of their time. as for me, my husband and aunt as we voluntarily booked our tickets via Phil Airlines which is of course more pricey than theirs.

we booked the earliest flight to tagbilaran on feb 24 that gave us a whole day ahead of them as they opted for afternoon flights via cebu. so we were at the airport as early as 3am for our 5:30am flight. we decided not to bring our precious baby bennok for our return flight is via cebu airport and this will be our first time to ride the ferry from bohol to cebu. and we dont know how will the experience be. so instead of baby, we brought teddy since he was not with us yet during our first trip to bohol.

at the airport, we already missed baby. so we spend our time goofing around the camera with teddy.

what i want with early flights is that most of it are on time. plus the fact that you'll be early in your destination. so as early as 7am we are already in tagbilaran airport.

some more pictures at the airport
we booked at the bohol bee farm for our first night. while my  colleagues spent their night in sugbutel. ;-) upon exiting the tagbilaran airport, manong driver from bohol bee farm greeted us and immediately drove us to the farm. the farm itself is very relaxing (will try to have a separate post on Bee Farm). we took a breather then prepared for our daytour at Panglao Island Nature Resort. prior to this trip i asked daddy bee that we could only go to either Bohol Beach Club or PINR for our daytour. he opted for PINR as according to him, it is more relaxing here than BBC.

and so we availed BBF's transfer to and from PINR. my aunt was mesmerized upon seeing this:

since we are already hungry, we decided to eat brunch and to prepare for exploring and swimming at PINR. there was not much new at PINR. but just as before, the view from the swimming pool is very relaxing.

another good thing with PINR is the consumable entrance fee and their food are reasonably priced. ;-)

we spent the whole day swimming at PINR's pool.
then had halo halo and sandwich for merienda. by the way, their halo halo is one of the best halo halo that i ever tasted. a must try if you will spend a hot afternoon at PINR.

we asked the Bee Farm driver to fetch us at 6pm. then we decided to try their dinner buffet. at first we thought its expensive. but daddy bee and aunt decided to try the very intriguing buffet. glad we tried it for everything in the menu is pleasing and yummy.
the bottomless lemongrass tea and cabcab.

then we went to bed to prepare for the next day.

friday, february 25, as scheduled we will meet with the coworkers at the sea port.

this is the free breakfast provided by Bohol Bee Farm. we checked out early as the group will be arriving via the earliest ferry from cebu. if we have more time i would want to spend it roaming around the farm.

then our bohol daytour commence.

at the floating resto counter.

the food at the buffet enticing, though for me, it lacks the seafoods that i was looking forward to.

at the beachfront of whites and greens resort.

the next day we were scheduled for the earliest boat to cebu. for we opted to spend a day to see some of cebu's spots. unfortunately our 9:30am schedule was cancelled due to some boat problem without them informing us. if we have known then we could checked out late from whites and greens. as for some of the group that will catch an earlier flight from cebu to manila, oceanjet did not even offered to book them at the 10:30 am supercat sked. so we paid for new supercat tickets for the first group as for us we were transferred to the next schedule of oceanjet.

after docking at the cebu port, daddy bee, aunt and myself decided to just have some lunch and buy pasalubongs before we proceed to the airport. we dropped the idea of touring cebu city as we were afraid that we might be trapped in traffic in the city. so we went to CNT Lechon branch outside of sm cebu. and true to the blogs that i read, this is so far the best lechon that ive tasted.
at the mactan international airport.
dunkin donuts merienda while waiting for our flight.
teddy with the complimentary snacks from Philippine Airlines.

and with that i suddenly missed bohol again. we will definitely go back here if time and if His will. see u soon bohol.
