Finally.....BORACAY

Oh! This post has been sitting here in my drafts since August 2011. So please forgive if some facts are no longer accurate as this Boracay visit happened last June 2011.

As part of our wedding anniversary celebration, this year we decided to go to Boracay. Since we've never been to this place so daddy bee and I agreed as early as February to look for good deals for a Boracay vacation.  Originally dad and I was scheduled for June 12-14 travel. And as usual we've decided to bring baby bennok and we thought of spending more days in the island will be a good way to spend our anniversary and vacation. And so our vacation was extended till June 17.

At the airport. Baby bennok is all smiles upon learning we are flying though Philippine Airlines. His favorite airlines.

Practicing his parking skills at Terminal 2 boarding gates.

Pacifying the hyperactive baby.

I opted for the package offered by Boracay Regency, the REGENCY ESCAPADE that includes accommodation, full board meals and transfers, a stress free package. ;-)

The check in was a breeze despite the batch of arriving guests. Since we will be spending 5 nights, all charges fully paid prior to arrival, I was hoping for an upgrade for a room with pool access, sadly it did not happend. The staff offered the upgrade but with a fee but I am no longer interested since most of the time we are outside the room to explore the island and the resort. I will just hope that next time they will give me at least a discount. ;-)

The De Luxe room included in the package we availed. I requested for a King or Queen Sized Bed but no longer available kaya pinagtabi na lang namin ang dalawang bed. Given that I requested for it upon booking and yet request was not granted.

We were advised that dinner will be our first meal so after leaving our things in the room, we then checked out for a place to eat. Maraming pagpipilian sa D'Mall but we opted for Cyma.

Flaming Cheese, pita bread and the Lamb Souvlaki for our lunch.

For that 6 days our daily routine was breakfast then swim at the beach, pag napagod na sa pool naman, then lunch, siesta, gising, lakad ng konti kain kung saan abutan ng merienda tapos lakad ulit pabalik sa room para maghanda sa dinner lakad ng pagkatapos at tulog pag napagod. haaaayyyyyy.....nakaka miss naman talaga ang ganun, literal na KAIN TULOG GALA. yun nga lang magastos. But then again sabi nga nila for you to be productive you have to take a relaxing vacation once in a while, the same reason why you have vacation leaves. ;-)

On our last day, after checking out we rushed to the D Mall for our last minute souvenirs. We noticed that baby suddenly became sad to the point na naiiyak sya dahil sa ayaw nya pang umuwi at umalis sa isla. ;-)

Sobrang nag enjoy kami sa aming unang pagkakataon makapunta sa Boracay. So far this is the most relaxed vacation we've had. Sabi ko nga wala kaming ibang ginawa kundi kain, tulog at gala. Hopefully makabalik kami as we really enjoyed Boracay, and if our budget permits, we will still be staying at the Boracay Regency. Food was great, kahit puro buffet di kami nagsawa dahil every meal ay iba iba ang choices sa kanilang buffet. Facilities are very good, lalo na sa may mga chikiting na walang pagod lumangoy as they have several pools to choose from. Room was just ok for me. :-( Sana lang i consider nila yung profile ng occupants and so they can properly placed them. The best ang kanilang transfers. Next time via Kalibo pa rin kami because of Philippine Airlines naman. As we are comfortable with PAL. Thanks PAL! ;-)
