Last October 19, 2011 was the 2nd birthday of our unico hijo baby bennok. Since we no longer want a birthday party for various reasons, napagkasunduan namin ni daddy bee na mag out of town na lang kami. Then another Bohol trip with the family came in. 13 kaming lahat, 12 adults and 1 turning two baby. Ito na yata ang pinaka magastos na birthday ni bennok. From airtickets, transfers, accommodation to food, all expense.

This was also the time when Philippine Airlines are having staff problems. So for our 4pm flight we were at the airport as early as 1:15pm

Since we usually fly via PAL, first time namin ito sa Terminal 3. Okay naman pala, mas malaki at syempre mas bago kumpara sa Terminal 1 where most of International flights are serviced. Dami ring food choices yun lang dahil nagtitipid kami di kami kumain sa Yellow Cab.

Ito ang unang beses na lumipad kami via PAL na merong mga aberya. First, instead of going to PAL Terminal 2 sa terminal 3 ang aming flight, then we were advise to go to a different boarding gate when almost 30 minutes before expected departure. Boarding time, we were transferred by a bus to the plane. And after 30 minutes inside the plane we were advised to go back as our flight was cancelled due to blah blah blah! ;-)

I understand the situation. Baka nga naman kung tumuloy kami eh kung ano pa mangyari sa amin. At the counter meron namang ground staff na nagpapaliwanag kung anong nangyari at ano ang options. Of course not everybody would think the same as some are beginning to lost their patience and as for them they really need to be in Tagbilaran that night. PAL offered other passengers to be carried to Cebu, the nearest airport in Tagbilaran, and/or take the earliest flight that PAL will provide, as early as 5am. They even offered an accommodation at Manila Heritage Hotel in Pasay and meals for the night. Sa amin OK naman kami na kahit next day na lang. So we decided to take the next earliest flight. PAL is so generous as they even gave transfers to and from the hotel the next day, yun nga lang maagang maaga.

At The Heritage Hotel Manila, we were given 6 rooms, 1 Executive Suite and 5 De Luxe Rooms for all of us since max of two per room. Imbes na mainis, mas natuwa pa kami dahil mas napaganda ang tutulugan namin nung gabing iyon. hehehehe! ;-)

Actually kasya lahat kami dito eh, kaso binigyan na kami ng 6 na kwarto kaya gamitin na lang din namin. ;-)

Pagkatapos mag ayos ng gamit dumiretso na kami sa restaurant para sa libreng dinner. Ordinaryong dinner buffet dahil walang tumatak sa aking isipan kung alin sa mga nakahain ang masarap. Pero dahil libre PWEDE NA, thanks PAL! ;-)

After dinner, we all went back to our respective rooms to rest for the early flight the next morning.
